Remember it is not enough just to have a policy. Your employees must read it. Get them to sign it. And, re-visit it annually. Make sure that it also forms part of your induction program. Make sure that they know the potential consequences of the breach including disciplinary action or termination if it is serious enough. The types of things you might want to cover in your policy include;

User responsibilities

Network access requirements

When and how the company’s will monitor the appropriate use of the devices

Reset and data deletion

Consequences of a breach of policy

Application restrictions
